Adrienne Viehmann
 
Greetings, second grade students and parents! I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching second grade at CDM this year. This is my 17th year teaching, and I have taught several grades, including 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade. I believe that elementary education should be fun, inspiring, and involve choice for students.
 
I attended The Bishop's School for high school, New York University for my undergraduate studies, and SDSU and National University for my elementary education classes. I started off at Hoover High School as a reading intervention teacher, working with immigrant students who had little knowledge of the English language. I'm so blessed to have spent the past 14 years in the Del Mar Union School District at both Ocean Air Elementary and Carmel Del Mar. :)
 
In my spare time, I can be found with my two boys, playing soccer or boogey boarding. My husband Greg and I love to visit his parents in coastal Maine and go boating to the islands around town.
